After a successful career of three decades in luxury retail management, Leslie made a purposeful shift into financial services in 2023 to pursue a passion for helping individuals, families and business owners build stronger financial futures. Her background in managing teams, solving problems, and serving clients gave her a strong foundation for the client-focused work she is doing today at Madar Financial. She completed the FSCP designation in 2026.
Leslie was honored to be invited to join other first year high-performers at NYL Career Conference in 2024, and she qualified for the Executive Council in 2025 and 2026*.
Leslie is one of the founders and admins of DFW Network of Women, a women’s group started in 2023 to support and empower women in business. The group has a large Facebook community, and networking events are held monthly. She is also a board member and an ambassador for the Benbrook Area Chamber of Commerce.
In early 2024, Leslie was diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer. During her treatments, she met many brave women. Some had a much more serious diagnosis and experienced some debilitating treatments. Still, there was an unspoken bond formed through shared struggle, strength and survival. When she finished treatment, she knew she had to do something to help with the fight, so she did her first Susan G. Komen Walk, along with 17 of her friends. In early 2025, she joined the Komen Advisory board in Fort Worth.
Leslie is based in Fort Worth. She is married to Trey, and has two adult children, Jackson and Chloe. When not working, you will find her spending time with her wonderful family, snuggling the family dachshund, Penny, taking a Pilates class or watching her husband play country music around town.
